Downtown Beaufort Renovation
Lately, we have been asked the same question over and over. As friends and colleagues drive a downtown street, they notice a Frederick + Frederick jobsite sign in front of house being renovated. But what is the little building out front they ask; is it a chapel, or a home gym, or…?
It’s a screen porch, attached to the house by a walkway, and the most perfect spot for sipping sweet tea and enjoying the absolutely gorgeous October weather!
Both the exterior and the interior of this house have been transformed. We are grateful for clients that trusted our whole vision for the property, and a great builder (Powell Brothers) to execute the vision. Its nearly complete and we are thrilled with the outcome!
Berkeley Hall (Bluffton, SC) addition

The new owners are going to enclose and add on to the original screen porch, making that a new family room, and they are building a new screen porch too. Just a fabulous amount of living space around the pool! Allan Howell of Howell Builders has begun this addition/ renovation and we are excited to see construction progress.
Pigeon Point House
Benjie went to the new house in Pigeon Point today for his weekly site visit. Usually, construction administration involves a thorough walk-through of the house once a week. The findings are documented on a field report and in photographs, and sent to the owner and the contractor. Being organized and methodical in our approach to construction administration is hugely important.
