Wall glazes are fun!

I saw the Sherwin William's display on their different finishes at the AIA convention a few weeks ago and had to come home and try it out. This is me applying a glaze on a freshly painted wall in our office. Our office was originally a pump house that had been added onto many times. When we bought it 20 years ago it was a contractors office. There was a mixture of  CMU walls and drywall that we applied a rough texture to in the renovation 20 years ago. I was ready for a new look so I painted the walls with a flat latex (no VOCs) in Celery and added a glaze with 25% color of Rye Grass. I am thrilled with the look. I am going to use a red glaze on the front door. Sherwin Williams also has metallic paints that I am going to try out in my powder room.
