In 2004, Frederick + Frederick captured two of the highest honors granted by the American Institute of Architects' South Carolina chapter, the coveted Honor Award in the Robert Mills Residential Design Award competition. This in addition to numerous past awards ranks the firm among the top
in the region. Frederick + Frederick was founded by Jane and Michael Frederick in 1989. Both received a Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University in 1982. The firm's comprehensive design approach included administration of allaspects of site selection and analysis, design and construction. Active listening, thoughtful planning, creativity and leadership skills result in designs that rejoice in both the natural beauty of the Lowcountry and the lifestyle of each individual client.
